Optimise

Baby years

Up to 24 months per child counted in your career with a revenu fictif, a lever that is often overlooked.

What it is

For each child, up to 24 months (48 months in the case of a disabled child or at least two other children in the household) are treated as periods of compulsory insurance, with a revenu fictif. Condition: 12 months of compulsory insurance within the 36 months preceding the birth or adoption.

To be claimed in time

These periods increase both the majorations forfaitaires and the majorations proportionnelles. They must be claimed no later than at the time of the pension application: once the pension has been liquidated, it is too late. Not to be confused with the forfait d'éducation (Mammerent).

Legal basis: art. 171 of the Code de la sécurité sociale.
